Senior Story Producer, Save the Children UK: June 2021 - Present
Researching and producing stories with children and families in the UK and around the world. These stories are used for campaigning, fundraising, and media to communicate the challenges children face and the solutions.
I manage creative content commissions and filming crews. This involves interviewing children and running creative projects with them.
Communications Manager, Education Sub Saharan Africa: July 2019 - June 2021
Led the communications strategy and team.
Launched the African Scholarship Hub website with over 3,000 scholarships for young people in Africa, and the Women Leading campaign promoting over 400 female education leaders.
Global Stories Lead, Restless Development: November 2014 - July 2019
Trained young people around the world to capture and share their stories of change. Led over 20 global story-gathering trips producing video, photography, and written content for successful advocacy and fundraising campaigns.
Media Relations Assistant, UNICEF UK: March - October 2014
Worked on large-scale media campaigns in UNICEF UK's press office, including Soccer Aid and the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. Managed UNICEF’s partnership with children’s newspaper First News, writing weekly stories about inspiring children around the world.

Local Councillor, Sutton Council: May 2023 - Present
Elected Liberal Democrat Councillor working on a range of local issues: from social housing to education. Trustee for the Youth Justice Service for young offenders and a member of the Corporate Parenting Forum for children looked after.
Trustee, InHive: November 2021 - Present
InHive exists to ensure every young person can make the most of their networks, no matter where they come from. My Trustee role focuses on external communications, messaging and storytelling.
Ambassador & Communications Advisor, Youth for Change, an award-winning youth-led campaign for girls rights: December 2015 - March 2020
Worked with the UK Department for Education, young people, schools and health professionals to successfully advocate for FGM to be included in Relationships and Sex Education in all UK secondary schools.
