Stand With Eva

'To my fellow young people, we should rise up and make ourselves heard'.’ Eva Tolage, a young girl from Tanzania, advocated for clean water for her community.

I went to Tanzania to make this short film about Eva’s story and launch her Stand With Eva campaign, in partnership with Restless Development and the ONE campaign.

She campaigned locally, nationally, and internationally to get a clean supply of water for her community and school. She launched an online petition that got over 150,000 signatures, President Obama endorsed her calls for action in a speech made at the UN General Assembly and she worked alongside her community to meet her local government leaders.

Her campaign won and n new water point was installed at her school!
